At the time of each grooming appointment you will be asked to sign a "release and hold harmless agreement", which covers the following points: 

Accidents can occur. Every effort shall be made to insure a safe and happy grooming experience for you pet, and you may rest assured that he or she is in considerate and skilled hands. The fact is however, that very sharp tools are being used in close quarters to a very excitable being that would probably rather be somewhere else. In the event of minor accidents, they will be pointed out and exlained. In the event of serious harm, immediate veterinary care may be sought.The owner agrees to save and hold harmless Dogs by Don from any damage, loss or claims arising from any pre-existing conditions of the pet. Also, in the event veterinary care is required, the owner agrees to pay all such costs.
