Vaccinations should be current; proof of vaccination may on occaision be requested.

In general, muzzling will be unnecessary and avoided, however the safety of both groomer and pet is paramount, and various restraint devices may be employed as necessary. The client is expected to inform Dogs by Don of any behavioral problems that are known. Aggressive animals will not be accepted, and the right to terminate service at any time is reserved by Dogs by Don.

Skin or parasite problems, such as flea infestation, should be made known to the groomer prior to service. Herbal flea treatment is available and mandatory if required.

An established relationship with regularly scheduled grooming is the ideal for both client and pet. Dogs and cats are more comfortable with people and places they know and trust. Proper care of the coat between services is the owners responsibiity. If you are unsure what is involved, simply ask the groomer, and instruction is gladly provided.

All prices quoted are approximate, and while every effort will be made to adhere to these, unusual conditions, such as severe matting, may incure extra charges. The actual fee will be that stated at the completion of service.

24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Dogs by Don may cancel due to weather, road conditons, mechanical problems, delays caused by earlier clients etc. You will be notified as soon as possible and rescheduled as necessary.

Payment for services is due at completion in previously agreed upon kind. Failure to provide payment, or checks returned, will incur charges for time lost and fees entailed.
